Instructions
- The candidate is advised to be present in the venue one hour before the commencement of his/her counselling session. Allotment of the college and subject will be made as per rank, communal and other reservations and /or the availability of seats during the counselling sessions. The candidate is directed to attend the counselling on the date and time pertaining to him/her at his/her own cost, with all the original certificates as listed below and with Xeroxed copies.
- Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet (s) U.G Degree, P.G Degree.
- Permanent Community Certificate (If Applicable).
- Transfer Certificate of College (Last studied).
- Nativity Certificate (If applicable).
- Special Reservation Certificate (PH/VC/Ex-servicemen) (If applicable).
- X, XII Mark Sheets.
- NSS/NCC/Sports(If applicable).
- If a candidate has already submitted all the original certificates to an institution where he/she has already been admitted, a letter from the Head of the Institution should be brought to that effect. In such case only, attested copies of certificates will be accepted.
- Candidates coming for counselling will have to bring with them a Demand Draft for Rs. 2,000/- (Two thousand) only Rs. 1,000/- (One thousand) only in case of SC/ST drawn in favour of The Secretary, Tamilnadu B.Ed, Admissions, Chennai-5 ( obtained not earlier than the counselling date mentioned Overleaf) and payable at Chennai or by cash at the Counselling Centre.
- The candidates will be given the Allotment Order. There after the candidates have to pay the remaining fee to the college concerned at the time of admission on the date specified in the allotment order. If the candidate does not report for admission as per the allotment order he/she has to forfeit the amount paid and cannot claim admission later.
- Selection of the college is the sole responsibility of the candidate. Choice once made is final and cannot be changed.
- The candidate already pursuing any course in an Institution is advised not to apply for Transfer Certificate until they receive a confirmed allotment order in B.Ed. Counselling. There is a possibility that some category and community seats may get exhausted on the Date/Time of the Candidate’s counselling.
- Rank list is strictly prepared for the counselling according to the subject wise marks as shaded in the OMR sheet and also according to community reservation.
- If the candidates find any discrepancy in the rank list, they can represent/appear on the scheduled date and time of counselling.
- The candidates those who have not received their call letters for their subject can also report on the scheduled date and time of counselling, if their cut-off marks are included in the interview for other candidates.
- Your selection will be cancelled if any disciplinary/malpractice is found at the time of verification of your certificates.
- Any suggestion/compliant should be informed only to the Secretary.
