14 students get placement orders
Bright career: Union Minister of State for Environment and
Forests S. Regupathy giving away the placement order to a
student in Pudukottai on Saturday.
PUDUKOTTAI: A total of 14 final year undergraduate students
of Hotel Management and Catering Science of J.J. Institute
of Hotel Management and Catering here got placement
and were inducted on Saturday as Trainee Associate Manager by
M/s Domino Pizza, Bangalore, at the end of a campus interview
held recently.
Handing over the placement offers to the students, the Union
Minister of State for Environment and Forests, S. Regupathy,
said that with the increase in arrival of tourists in the country,
the prospects and scope for hospitality industry was widening,
calling for competence among students of hotel management colleges
to cater to the needs of international visitors.
The Principal of the college, J. Parasuraman, said that it has
been planned to organise a few more placement drive programmes
to benefit students. The Placement Officer, S. Shankar, was
among those who spoke.
