SRM to offer course in media
The SRM School of Journalism & Mass Communication,
Kattankulathur, offer’s a part-time Postgraduate Diploma
Course in Journalism spanning nine months, at the SRM Nightingale
Matriculation Higher Secondary School in West Mambalam (68,
Thambiah Road), Chennai. Classes were scheduled to commence
on January 21, from 6.30 pm to 8 pm, five days a week.
The course has been designed as a postgraduate course, open
to graduates from any recognised university or institution recognised
by the University Grants Commission.
The course is aimed at equipping aspiring journalists and writers
with skills required for newspaper and magazine publishing as
well as other media.
The faculty will include S. Muthiah, noted journalist and author,
the honorary dean of the SRM School of Journalism & Mass
Communication among others.
