The KLN College of Engineering has signed a memorandum of understanding with KEANE, an international software development company, to train pre-final year students in domain specific skills and soft skills that would fetch them good placements.

The domain specific skills in dotnet and java will be imparted through practical classes in laboratories while group discussion, presentation skills and handling interviews will form the sessions aimed at imparting soft skills.

The training programme is being conducted by expert trainers from KEANE for a period of 30 days for seven hours a day.

As many as 205 students participate in the training. A periodical assessment would be made on the students’ progress.

Rajasekaran, vice-president of KEANE, inaugurated the programme last week. S. Ganapathy, Principal, welcomed the gathering. G. Gokul Kumar, Talent Development Officer, proposed a vote of thanks.
